Prospective candidates at all levels should have good communication, writing and inter-personal skills in addition to a strong understanding of various sub-disciplines in biological sciences, such as cell, molecular biology and genetics. 

 

Postdoctoral candidates: 

Candidates skilled in cell, molecular, developmental biology and genetics, who have a good publication record are encouraged to reach out to us. They should aim to secure their own research fellowships. To this end, if found suitable we are happy to work with you in building a strong and competitive application for postdoctoral fellowships such as the N-PDF program and others.

 

Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE)  also has a competitive Postdoctoral Fellowship Program and prospective candidates with relevant experience and with at least two international publications in biosciences can write to us with their CV and research proposal.

 

PhD positions:

Candidates should have a postgraduate degree - MSc. or MTech. (with minimum 60% marks or equivalent) in any branch of Life sciences – Biological sciences/Biotechnology/Biochemistry/Genetics. Eligible candidates can apply through the MAHE PhD entrance test that is conducted twice a year. More details on this are available here.
